Ground Floor
The lounge has underfloor heating a 5kw log burning stove and cosy comfortable seating. Books, DVDS and games are provided.
Downstairs W/C with a separate boot room area with underfloor heating plus bespoke storage for all your outdoor wet weather gear.
Kitchen
The spacious fully equipped kitchen features a large farmhouse table plus underfloor heating throughout. Fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, halogen hob and washing machine.
TV and Technology
50” LED TV in the lounge with Freeview and DVD players, free unlimited Wi-Fi.
Bedroom
Deluxe bedroom with a king-size bed. The room has underfloor heating and USB plug points either side of the bed.
Bathroom
Beautifully fitted bathroom with a large free-standing bath and walk-in shower, WC and basin with heated towel rail. Towels, bath mat and luxury complimentary toiletries are provided. The bathroom is fully equipped with underfloor heating.
Family
Coach Cottage sleeps 2 adults. Special arrangements can be made for guests with a baby but sadly we do not provide additional accommodation for children.
Pets
Sorry, no dogs permitted. Coach Cottage is completely pet-free and is therefore suitable for guests with dog allergies.
Outside
Coach Cottage has a small beautiful warm courtyard garden, south facing and overlooking St Peters & Pauls Grade I* parish Church. The courtyard is furnished with a bistro table and chairs perfect for morning coffee/breakfast. The courtyard area is exclusive to the cottage. This lovely space is south-facing and gets the sun from late morning through to early afternoon.

Parking
Private off-road parking for one car is available within the main grounds of Westfield House alongside the cottage. Coach Cottage has a bike store.
Please be Aware
The Wi-fi connection provided in the cottage is full fibre, however, it cannot be guaranteed as it is provided by a third party, so it may go down at times or the speed may not be as fast as you may be used to at home.
There are only 2 guests permitted to stay at Coach Cottage during your stay and smoking at the property is not permitted.

Longhoughton
The village of Longhoughton is situated on the Northumberland Coast line between Amble and Bamburgh. The village is a vibrant parish with St Peter & Paul church at the heart of the village. There are a number of local amenities to help make your stay enjoyable. There is a local Co-op mini market, Community Sports centre, and an award-winning artisan bakery, The Running Fox.
Coach Cottage sits in the grounds of Westfield House a former Georgian Vicarage built in 1839. The Cottage sits at the front entrance of the house and has private direct pedestrian access and drive access via Westfield House.
Coach Cottage nestles beautifully within a 15-minute walk of the stunning Northumberland Coastline. Sugar Sands and Howdiemont Bay can be accessed on foot, through the picturesque farm of Low Steads where you will find yourself on the Northumberland Coast Path which follows this stunningly beautiful coastline for 100 kilometres (62 Miles) to Cresswell in the south and Berwick-upon-Tweed in the north. Alongside sandy beaches, over rocky headlands, past dramatic castles and through attractive coastal villages such as Embleton, Alnmouth, Craster, Amble, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Beadnell.

We are 4.4 miles east of Alnwick and the A1.
Longhoughton is 3.2m from Alnmouth a main rail station to London and Edinburgh.
Alnmouth is 3hrs 42m from London and 1hr 10m from Edinburgh. Trains run frequently throughout the day. There are a number of taxi services in Alnwick that operate locally and make regular station runs.
